Learn and develop new skills, meet new people, build confidence and have a lot of fun. Our Comedy Workshops focus on a range of elements such as exploring different comedy styles including stand-up, improv and character comedy, developing writing skills, building confidence techniques, observing, questioning, and experimenting with ideas.

*Participants have the opportunity to perform in a showcase held in the Studio Theatre at Brighton Dome and across the weeks we’ll look at how material is developed along with gaining an insight into marketing a show and behind the scenes roles.
The workshops will be led by local comedian Tom Veryzer with special guest comedians joining us across the weeks – names to be announced soon.
A member of the Komedia Productions team will be in touch to confirm your place. Spaces are limited. Young people who receive free school meals will be prioritised.
